MIRACLE LINUX Corporation (hereafter referred to as MIRACLE LINUX; Headquarters: Higashi-shimbashi, Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Takeshi Sato) announces that it has renovated the management organization, and that Takashi Kodama has been appointed as the President and Chief Executive Officer as of the date July 1, 2008 according to the resolutions of the extraordinary stockholders meeting and succeeding board of directors' meeting held on June 30, 2008.

Mr. Kodama started his professional career at Fujitsu Limited in April 1989. After he moved to Oracle Corporation Japan in February 1993, he played active roles as a field database engineer in western and central regions in Japan, and he also worked at Oracle Corporation in the United States, where he experienced technical support for OEM manufacturers. With his abundant experience in business development accumulated during his tenure in the CEO Office at Oracle Japan from June 2003, he was the Vice President of the MIRACLE LINUX Strategic Business & Promotion. Since June in the next year when he moved to MIRACLE LINUX Corporation, he has been responsible for sales and strategic business promotion activities. He also made a major contribution to founding Asianux Corporation in December 2007, and he still holds the post of the Vice President.

Mr. Takeshi Sato, stepping down as the president, has been appointed as the post of the Chairman of the Board and he will continue to support business activities of MIRACLE LINUX under the new management organization. Mr. Hirotaka Yoshioka, stepping down as the board member and CTO, will be involved in evangelistic activities as a senior expert and also lead development of Mobile Internet Devices (MID).

In this occasion of management reshuffling, MIRACLE LINUX strives for "Second Inauguration." Under the leadership of Mr. Kodama with his rich global experience and proven track records in business as well as in technological fields, MIRACLE LINUX will expand its business in the domestic market. MIRACLE LINUX also takes advantage of its advanced and flexible technical support as a domestic operating system vendor, which will benefit the customers and partners to full extent.

MIRACLE LINUX will contribute to further dissemination of open source software by supporting business enterprises utilizing open source software, and seek to create an environment which allows IT engineers to develop himself/herself and thrive freely and vigorously.
