Asianux goes to Asian wide
Vietnam company joins Asianux consortium
More other countries' companies will rush to Asianux

Beijing, China (5 September 2007)-Today, Asianux Consortium, which is founded by China Red Flag, Korea HAANSOFT, and Japan Miracle Linux, announced VietSoftware of Vietnam officially joins Asianux Consortium as 4th members.

Following Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) Vietnam joined Asianux Advisory Board at 27th July 2007, a Vietnam company, VietSoftware, joins Asianux Consortium as pre-revealed. VietSoftware is one of the leading software companies in Vietnam with reputation in excellent software product development, quality service, innovative approach to client problems and elite management team with international education and professional work experience at international companies. Asianux will contribute in open source software development of Vietnam. In next 5 years, Vietnam Linux market CAGR is approximate 20 percent. After Joining of the VietSoftware and MOST Vietnam, Asianux covers 25 percent population in world wide. Through recruiting new members, Asianux expand successfully and make solid their representative Linux enterprise OS position in Asia.

VietSoftware will release Asianux Server 3 in the end of September in Vietnam nationwide, and they will start Linux OS business through Asianux in addition to their own open source software business. VietSoftware already secured variety open source technologies and delivered many solutions based on open source softwares.

Thanks to the unique '4-CO' business model of Asianux, that is co-development, co-brand, co-support and co-marketing, Asianux Consortium differentiates itself with other Linux vendors such as Red Hat and Novell. Asianux is contributing to establish an Asian standard Linux Platform in terms of combining Asia wisdom and taking advantages of integrated local resources. According to IDC, Asianux has developed into the 3rd large Linux vendor from 2006. Since most Asian countries have strong intension to promote local software industry and OSS technology, Asianux business model gets applaud from Asian countries. Asianux Consortium expects that other countries' companies will rush to Asianux after joining of VietSoftware. Already they have taken several inquiries from 3 ~ 4 countries and they are negotiating with one candidate. They expect that at least one more country will join in this year.
